Artist Agreement:
JRAC’s mission is to support the arts in our community, and one way we do that is by providing exhibiting artists with a 70% commission on all sales; 30% goes to JRAC’s operating funds. If you would like to donate an additional percentage to JRAC, please indicate that on your inventory form when you deliver your artwork.
• Sales are calculated monthly and payments are made in a timely manner. Payments are made by check mailed to the artist.
• It is the artist responsibility to ensure all works delivered to JRAC for display or consignment are accurately documented with a completed inventory form. Submit one copy with work and retain a copy for your files.
• All work will be handled in a professional manner. All works are submitted at owners’ risk and /or are covered by the owner's insurance. JRAC's insurance is limited to fire and theft (shoplifting) for the cost of materials only.
• You also certify that you have full rights over the piece of work that you are putting on consignment with JRAC.
• Artwork left at the Gallery for more than one year, without any response from the artist, becomes the property of JRAC.
• Unless otherwise indicated with check-mark below, you are granting permission for JRAC to use your name and images/videos of your work for promotional purposes such as on the website, social media, newsletters, etc.
This agreement is valid in perpetuity, or until the artist revokes permission or a new agreement is signed.
