JRAC GIFT SHOP

The JRAC Gift Shop is proud to offer a broad selection of high-quality small works and gifts by area artists. Artists are invited to submit work for sale with the opportunity to earn 70% of the sale price. JRAC receives 30% commission to support exhibits, education and other programming. New work for the Gift Shop is typically accepted in March of each year with drop-off dates announced in advance. We are happy to work with individual artists to receive art for the Gift Shop at other times throughout the year; please contact one of the gift shop coordinators listed below.

 All artists participating in the Gift Shop must hold a current membership for the year. An exception is non-member artists exhibiting work in the gallery who may offer items in the gift shop if all other parameters are met. Non-member artists generally pay a separate exhibition fee. Memberships can be purchased online here. If you are unsure of your membership status, contact us at jordanriverarts@gmail.com and we will let you know.

 New creative work is encouraged each year with pricing at $100 or less preferred. To ensure fresh inventory for best sales activity, and because storage is limited, small amounts of the same items are recommended.

 Other Guidelines

Each year, to avoid confusion, a new contract and inventory sheet with merchandise offered for sale are required. Artist information and the agreement form can be submitted using the online form below.(coming soon) Or choose the PDF option.

Artists may swap-out or request to remove work from the Gift Shop at any time as needed, but a signed “Exit Inventory” document must be submitted so the inventory can be adjusted and to avoid confusion. To create this document, download the Inventory PDF below, note it as “Exit Inventory” and list items being removed from the Gift Shop.

JRAC reserves the right to reject or hold back from displaying any and all artworks that do not uphold the quality or standards of our mission or space limitations.

 Artist commission checks from the Gift Shop are sent out after our accountant has reconciled the previous month (example: payments for April sales are typically sent by May 15th). A detailed inventory of sold items is sent with the payment.

For artist inventory not claimed by closing year-end, JRAC reserves the right to claim it as its own and is not liable for such items left.

 JRAC reserves the right for additional amendments or updates to these criteria as deemed fit and artists will be notified of any/all changes via contact information provided.
